85 Games Studio secured 2nd place as "LC Game Studio" in Azerbaijan's inaugural 2018 game jam competition.
The final ceremony of the Game Jam competition, organized by the "Hackathon Azerbaijan" team and sponsored by the IDRAK Technological Transfer company, which started in early November 2017, was held.
Initially, 53 teams applied to participate in the competition, but during the selection by the Organizing Committee, 42 of these teams won the right to compete in the competition and participate in the trainings that will be held within the competition.
From November 25th to December 17th, the participants will be introduced to the path from idea to product, 3D game programming, Unity 3D, introduction to computer graphics, mathematical fundamentals of the game industry, 3D technologies, ways to generate income from game programming, etc. subjects were taught.
The participants who successfully completed the training sessions performed in front of the jury with a special presentation on the game applications they wrote, the selected participants won the right to compete in the finals. The winners of the competition were presented with valuable gifts, and the main winner was presented with a cash prize and a specially prepared trophy.
